Jon,

Can't do too much about the computer stuff, but maybe I can help you with the peeing thing. We'll talk about it sometime...

Michael

Sometimes when I pee I can’t seem to get that last drop into the urinal. Once, I waited twenty minutes and still the damned thing dribbled the moment I zipped up. You’ve shown such patience with everyone in this thread, I thought maybe you could take some time out of your day job and solve this, too?

Jon, you are fabulous.  Thank you for a much-needed belly laugh.  :)

Dean,

I have been wanting to ask you this for a while now. How did you get your picture up under your name?

I sent mine in a while back and Joe has already made it clear that he doesn't like FTPing. I wouldn't mind taking some of the pressure off him, at least in my case.

Peace.

Michael

Michael,

Long story short: Send an image by email to the admin address. If you do not follow the format specified below, you probably will not even get a reply that your image is not accepted. Wait a couple of days, and maybe it will be added to the site.

file type: JPG
color mode: grayscale
width: about 80 pixels, Joe's is 81, some are less
height: not more then 100 pixels, some are less

Use Photoshop, GIMP, or I think MSPaint has JPG and color mode abilities too now days. I do not use windows, so I am not sure what kind of image manipulation software is out there for it that is free.

Joe, apparently this is the tech support page so I'm posting my question here.

I started making the Solo Illinois site and I was wondering if the left menu that appears on the content pages can also be put on the discussion page as well. It seems that discussions comes off the Forum and Solo Illinois is an offshoot of Clubs, so I'm guessing that is why the side menu changes.

Is there a way to better integrate the club forum with the rest of Solo Illinois, maybe by making the discussion page part of the welcome page?

Thanks for your help.

I've been looking for a tech support page. A week or so ago, my Philip Coates page no longer had a link to all my posts.

That was extremely useful...one could see what one had already said and not repeat it across threads, see who had replied, make further points.

Without that, a great deal of the value of posting for many people is lost.

PLEASE bring it back!

Phillip - I think you might've overlooked posts 51 & 52 in this thread - that was addressed by Joe.

link to all posts - Thanks, Jason.

"panty wetter.." [Marcus]. I'm really acquiring an enhanced vocabulary as I spend time at SOLO recently. I think it's all the Brits, Canucks, and Kiwis with their facility with language. You are teaching me the King's English.

Zounds.

I've added a modified version of the functionality that listed posts and galleries to your user information.  As before, it only lists posts that are readable by all.  This time, it doesn't list whether the forum posts have sanctions (used to be ***).  It's a lot faster now, though.

Joe,

Shit, I hate to bother you, man. But that feature now lists the posts and things with the oldest on top. For my use at least, it was easier when it was the reverse, with the newest posts visible (on top).

Is that easy to fix? Was there a reason for that?

Thanks,

Michael
