| | I got this notice (below) from a company interested in hiring me (from Monster.com). It mentions something called a "consumer investigative report." Apparently, from just this "report" alone, this company will effectively know my "character", "general reputation", "personal characteristics" -- whatever that means, and "mode of living" -- whatever that means ("among other relevant things").
So, if most of you end up getting contacted by them about me -- because this seems like something out of Orwell's 1984! -- would you put in a good word for me? Thanks.
