I am extremely excited about this man. I was happily floored, having just finished reading "The passion of Ayn Rand" ,to find his name in the prolgue as a supporter and practiconer of the philosophies of Objectivism. Tonight myself and young daughters will attend my first Ron Paul meet-up here in Milwaukee and will be distributing flyers in support of his bid for the Republican nomination and his bid for Presidency !!

Thank you Mr. Gores,
I've been a bigbfan of Dr. Paul for several months. I  hadn't been aware of his conscious connections to Objectvist philosophy and feel even that much more passionate about his campaign.

Congratulations, Ms. Morton. (May we call you Gigi? - how cool to have a Gigi here!)

I am not actually a supporter of Paul's for president, I hope to cast my first winning vote ever for Giuliani. But I do like having Paul around, and it is nice to have someone you can actually support run for office, so I support your joy, if not your particular candidate.

Ted

Yes Ted, by all means, use my first name.
I appreciate Dr. Paul for many reasons that don't compromise my freedom and that don't excelerate the taking away of those constitutional rights. I was (and am) confused by any person or canidate that supports a collectivist nanny state that infringes on the legal and constitional rights of privata buisness owners (smoking bans) and that want to excelerate spending of tax dollars and entrenchments in places like Iraq . The Statesman , Reagan was more along the lines of  the foreign policy  I can respect. But , as always I will continue to research my premises. I'm also wary of a mutiplied married person, I come to the conclusion that a long haul is not within their  character. I'm not intending to debate, as I respect your ability and freedom to come to your own conclusions . If their is anything you would like to share with me , please feel free to do so. Thank you, Gigi

Now if only Dean Michael Gores would run for president, perhaps people would mistake him for Gore, and he would get elected because of name misrecognition!

I'm holding out hope that Rep. Jeff Flake (R)-AZ will run for President in '12. I'm with Ted on this one, Giuliani will get my vote in '08, too.

How true, Gigi! Reagan was not a mere politician or a mere President -- he was a true Statesman (like T. Jefferson, et al.)!

Ted: I hope to cast my first winning vote ever for Giuliani.

Me: Um why? This dude wants to shove a national ID card down our throats. Frack that! I'll slap on a powdered wig, wear wooden teeth, and call myself George Washington if that happens (aka rebelling). That guy is a scary in that fact. He isn't leadership material. I put him in the same category as Romney and [Hillary] Clinton, which is file 13 (trashbin).

Brede, LOL (your protest).  Giuliani, comparing himself to 9/11 rescue and clean-up workers, stunned me. I admit to being constantly suprised at how  non-sensical political ploys can get. I'm working on that.

I was just watching some U-Tube videos of the republican candidates. I think Ron Paul is awesome. He has a great answer to medicare/welfare program funding & its future, I'm sure I could learn more from him in public speaking. Giuliani and Thompson did not impress me, although I'd much favor them over a blatant socialist.

This is at the FOX 2008 Republican presidential debate, the University of New Hampshire, September 5th 2007. I told Ron Paul I think he is doing excellent work, shaked hands with him, and asked him to pose for this photo with me. This is outside the spin room where Ron Paul was interviewed after the debate.

(off topic) The shirt says:

2002 FIFA World Cup
Korea Japan

As far as I know, Korea and Japan have huge rivalries in just about everything. This was for the 2002 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. I'm not sure where the Korean business man picked it up. He brought the shirt with him to the US when he was learning something related to mechanical engineering at Michigan Technological University. He gave it to my then girlfriend who was translating English to Korean for the Korean business men.
