I doubt it is true. I think American intelligence and American politicians would be eager to release this news. I think Al-Quaeda itself would be eager to release this news, to establish him as a martyr and rile up the troops.

If Osama is dead, the motive for foreign adventures will be gone. I don't think they want to capture him.
