The Meaning of Is

Barr gained notoriety during the Clinton impeachment. His use as a talking head by the media made him look like a religious zealot, and I formed a bad uniformed impression of him.

I then read his very well-argued The Meaning of Is.

He resigned from Congress, and every opportunity I have had to hear him speak since then has impressed me.

Only one thing about his candidacy gives me pause:

Yeah, sure! In other words, with a Dem majority in both houses, he won't be able to freeze spending, but he will end up cutting and running? Or does he intend, like so many an ingenuous lover, to "withdraw slowly?"

I'm voting Hillary.
