Well, as long as they aren't test firing long range missle capable of hitting Japan and the US. Oh wait....

Well, I'm sure our response will be as stong as it always has been, a stong deterent. Oh wait.....

Lets just hope that the UN takes this serious enough to write a letter. I hear they just upgraded to "Stong Wording 2.0".

We can still nuke the buggers back into the Stone Age. Well, FURTHER back into the Stone Age.

Not a lot of consolation, however, for someone like me living in Hawaii, close to striking range of said nukes.

Aaaaah, crazy batshit insane stone-cold authoritarians with nukes. Ramps up the challenge of achieving serenity and inner peace a bit, yeah?

I felt that we should have knocked their missile down when they did that test - i.e. drawn the line. This nuclear test is sufficient proof that we didn't draw the line back when we should have (long before the missile).

Any politician thinking that talk is going to accomplish a change of heart among North Korea leaders is foolish.

Our policy there hasn't exactly been spot on either. There threats to blockade local maritime trade implies they aren't staying up nights sweating the consequences of giving the US the double fisted bird.

We haven't made too many solid foreign policy decisions for a while, but it really seems like the wheels are coming off lately. I wonder if it's due to sensed weakness?

Ya think?  If there was any reservation of what a pussy Obama was before, all doubt was absolutely extinguished after his high profile "European apology tour," not to mention that cutesy photo op. with Chevez, and hopeless hope of finding members of a  "moderate Taliban."

My dad would call him a "sissy," but that's far too strong a word.

Calling Obama a "pussy" insults vaginas and their owners worldwide.

What are you talking about? Obama is a two-faced pussy and you know it.

I hope we can.  But when's the last time we did a nuclear test?  I think we need to do some tests of our own, to make sure we still have the ability to use nukes!

Why didn't I think of that? Testing a 50 megaton bomb would send a wonderfully clear message to our friends in Venezuela and Iran.

Ivy Mike at Enewetok was only 10.4 megatons, I believe.

In the other North Korea topic thread, I posted a link to this Wall Street Journal story.
("Citizen spies" ferret out facts on North Korea via Google Earth and similar tools.)

The link came from this website, Organizations and Markets
(The story was called "Way to Go, Curtis.")
