Ted - I do think Obama could have deluded himself into thinking that if he just acts kindly and shows that he’s not “evil” like Bush and that he speaks of the “Holy Koran” and the “Supreme Leader” and pushes all their hot buttons, that the Iranians and other enemies would return the kindness.

Of course, my girlfriend suggested that perhaps the reason Obama was being solicitous of the Mullahs was “professional courtesy,” one enemy of freedom to another. See why I love her!
