Do you think Shatner regrets that quote?

Why, cause he switched subjects mid-clause?

Shatner is disliked by those who are made uncomfortable by anyone who shows passion for their values. They pick on non-essentials to undermine his greatest virtue as an actor.

One episode I counted how many times he said "Deny Crane", his name in the show. It was 17 times! I mean all he does in that show is say his name and shoot people...oh and complain about his "Mad Cow" disease.

That would have been hilarious and out-of-character for Denny Crane. :-)

I agree with his...words. A very good piece of 'advice' in his second statement, no argument.

Methinks, however, that he really hasn't succeeded at accomplishing such. Over the years, it's become clear that most others who've worked with him find that he made following that advice hard to do for them while they worked with him. --- Can we say 'Celebrity-Star-Mania'-wannabeness?

He's a hypocritical asshole who says nice bromides when the camera's on him.

Otherwise, I like 'Captain Kirk.'   (Gah, what Spock had to put up with, only a Vulcan knows.)

Hopefully you're not referring to me.  I like Shatner!  I asked the grammar question because I couldn't think of any other reason why he might regret that quote.
