I still like the quote, because I usually say it to someone who's trying to brow beat me into agreeing with him/her on something.

Gandhi was a mixed bag, I did understand the point, but I just find the zen-like statements funny in general. What is the sound of one hand clapping? Well, not very loud, but you can certainly click your fingers against you palm like using castanets and make an audible noise.

My favorite personal aphorism (if you can call it such) which I use when I walk into a bunch of unsavory types, is that "You meet a better class of people at the DMV." (Department of Motor Vehicles, for those in states with different acronyms.)

My favorite quote about Gandhi comes from the Seinfeld episode with the lady with a goiter.

Ted

Clarence, is that "dap rhymes with tap," or "Dee Ay Pee?" And is there a reference manual? I knlow most of the gestures and lingo, having lived in the largest open-air heroin market in the western hemisphere (rents were cheap) but I have no metaknowledge on the subject.
