"Enlightenment Fundamentalism"

Two time exile, (from Africa, to Holland, to the U.S.) and witness to the murder of Theo van Gogh, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, author of Infidel is now coming under implicit attack in the Western media as an "Enlightenment Fundamentalist." Newsweek, the New Yorker, and the New York Times Book Review have all made swipes at this witness to true brutality. Never having initiated force in her life, Christopher Hitchens quotes Newsweek Magazine as labelling her a "Bombthrower."

Please follow this link to Christopher Hitchens' column in Slate Magazine, available free weekly on Tuesdays, with occasional updates given news events. Please bookmark that link. And if you have not already done so, and have no good reason not to, please cancel your subscriptions to or boycott the above mentioned publications. Those who have patronized these periodicals may wish to write in a letter of protest along with their cancellation.
