I sometimes modify my duplicate into a new post, if I have an idea worth expressing before the post becomes uneditable due to time. But only the moderator can delete posts, and even then it will say "deleted."

Ah, lust. As a young Catholic I never found the song offensive - it was he who was being rejected. Did he say which girl broke his heart? I loved Billy Joel up to Glass Houses. After the bike crash he became far too conventional and even retro. I found Uptown Girl repulsive. I actually felt personally betrayed now that I look back on it.
