What I meant to communicate with this quote is that wisdom is not merely excellent foresight, but involves a non-temporal hindsight (a hindsight based on human nature as such, not merely based on individual experience per se). It's not only when you can predict outcomes of various behaviors, it's when you've discovered optimal outcomes (and chosen to adjust your behavior appropriately).
