| Ignore The Boobs: A Montage With A Great Sense of Life and Other Great Videos Posted by Tyson Russell on 8/25, 12:08pm | ||
| Hello Everyone: It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I've assembled a number of great videos from YouTube and Google Video that I think you will enjoy. Yes, there is an Ayn Rand element. The first video is the montage linked to above. Click on the "Read more..." link to view the others. Despite its dogmatic pro-Republican, pro-NASA, and pro-Kiss elements- yes, the band- on the whole this video has a great sense of life. How the editor matched the clips to the lyrics of my favorite Rush song "Mission" is remarkable. It's the first three minutes that I like most. And the shot of Dominique ascending in the elevator is marvelous! There are lots of great pro-reason videos on YouTube and Google Video. If you want to find out more about the Austrian School of Economics and Mises checkout these videos from The Mises Institute: Liberty and Economics: Be sure to take note of Ed Hudgins old hair-do! Money, Banking, and the Federal Reserve: Find out the origin of the term "2 Bits"! And you can find Milton Friedman's Free To Choose video series in its entirety here: Nothing like dozens of hours of economic debate. You can also find Roark's speech from The Fountainhead movie as performed by Gary Cooper here. And watching The Philosophy of Liberty is always refreshing. Simply, if you go to either You Tube or Google Video and search ayn rand, mises, fountainhead, rothbard, stossel, free to choose, atlas shrugged, capitalism, communism, or the like, you will come across some great resources. Check out this video about Marxism: I'm not quite sure if it's a piece of satire or not. And the video blog of Utnow is quite entertaining. Check out his "Global Warming Is A Hoax" episode. Hopefully everyone enjoys these videos and starts to be on the look-out for more pro-Reason and pro-Rational Selfishness videos in the future. All The Best, Tyson | ||
