| Plan forged to stop tide of critically ill going to U.S. Posted by Sam Erica on 3/08, 5:21pm | ||
| Clearly, if you have a severe neurological problem in Canada the socialist health system cannot provide for you — at all. And this is on top of intolerable delays for routine surgery such as knee replacements. This is what is in store for the U.S. Critically ill patients have encountered barriers to accessing neurosurgery in Ontario at every turn. The problems include: limited access to teleradiology; limited operating-room time; too few intensive-care beds; a short supply of neurosurgically trained intensive-care nurses to staff them; and too few neurosurgeons. | ||
