| U.S. Passport Chips Made Offshore Posted by Michael E. Marotta on 3/27, 9:55am | ||
| The work is done by a Dutch firm which gets its chips from Taiwan and Singapore. They are then sent to Thailand where the chips and their antennas are imbedded into passport covers. The State Department swears on a stack of Bibles that the process is "secure." If you are even tempted to believe that, look closely at the video. You will see that the word "armored" is spelled "armoured" so I have to ask, who issued this "Government Printing Office" statement? | ||
