| When France & Holland voted down the EU Constitution, rules called for it to be dropped. Unhindered, the Eurocrats redubbed the same sovereignty stripper as a "treaty" requiring no popular vote. Except in Ireland, whose constitution mandates a popular vote. Once again, Ireland has saved Europe from the barbarians. | ||
