| "Goonions," Ford, and Brazil Posted by Teresa Summerlee Isanhart on 6/21, 8:44am | ||
| Fascinating short video put together by The Detroit News, highlighting in startling detail how auto manufacturing can and should be run in the U.S., but forbidden to do so by the UAW "goonion." Featured is a state of the art auto manufacturing plant in rural Brazil. American parts suppliers run their very own lines in the same facility. The plant even owns it's own shipping port. Brilliant. The plant, from what the video shows, is sparkling clean, extremely well lit, and workers look well fed (happy, even), which are some of the main complaints coming from the goonion regarding U.S. companies opening non-union plants overseas, that greedy U.S. industries "exploit" workers abroad. | ||
