| The Supreme Court handed down it's historic decision in the District of Columbia vs. Heller today. In a nutshell, individuals have the right to possess a firearm and to use it in self-defense. Government does have the right to prohibit the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill. Government can also regulate the sale of firearms, through things like background checks. | ||
