| A financial journalist at Marketwatch, Peter Brimlow, is (finally) pointing the finger at the government for the subprime meltdown, which is what McCain should be doing instead of pointing it at the banks. Then instead of me-tooing Obama, McCain could highlight a fundamental difference between himself and the Democratic candidate, and in so doing remain faithful to his allegedly anti-government, Republican roots. Brimlow's article is a distinguished exception to the spate of anti-capitalist demagoguery attributing the mortgage crisis to Wall Street "greed." | ||
