| On September 16 at Rockefeller University in New York City, John Stossell of ABC News teamed with Michael Cannon of CATO and Pacific Research Institute President and CEO Sally Pipes to debate the motion: universal health coverage should be the federal government’s responsibility. Advocates for the motion were New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, Art Kellerman, M.D., and Michael Rachlis, M.D. The debate was part of the Intelligence Squared U.S. series produced by the Rosenkranz Foundation.
