Jim struggles to juggle two kinds of keyboards: those connected to the computer, and those integral to the piano. Although the demands of being a software engineer in San Francisco often divert him from playing and listening to music, he sometimes manages to squeeze in a few moments to finger a tricky passage of Rhapsody in Blue, a Bach fugue, or a Beethoven sonata, or instead to listen to Ella Fitzgerald, Anna Moffo, or a Beethoven or Rachmaninoff piano concerto. Good conversation, good food, good wine, and perhaps a few rounds of Taboo (especially after the wine), can make his Saturday evening complete.
