Num Galleries: 0 | Description I'm been a devotee of reason, the pursuit of happiness, and freedom in general since High School (a looong time ago), but somehow never even heard of Ayn Rand or Objectivism until JAN 2005. At that time I was looking into what libertarianism was on a web page devoted to it, and read "Generally, Libertarian + Freethinker + philosophical rigor = Objectivist". That all seemed to apply to me, and soon enough - after learning a few mind-boggling things about the Objectivist community - I found myself reading SOLO regularly.
To add a few personal notes, I'm an engineer, live in my native Western New York (although I have also lived elsewhere in the Eastern US), am married, and have a daughter in Middle School. |
