Num Galleries: 0 | Description My life passion is music. Though I'm still in high school, I've begun my professional career. At the age of 13, I began playing major pieces with orchestra, such as Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.5 - as the soloist. At 15, I auditioned for the California All-State Honor Band and was chosen as the pianist. At 16, I was recommended to the conductor of the California Chamber Orchestra, Warren Gref. He gave me an impromptu audition, and he hired me as a soloist and speaker for the "Classical Music Club." I give little lectures on music, and sometimes premiere my own pieces at these venues. My career has started, but it is only the beginning. Hopefully I'll make it to one of the following schools which I've applied to: USC Thornton School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory, Juilliard, Eastman, Curtis Institute of Music, or Northwestern University. Acceptance letters should come by March... |
