Judgement Day
by Joseph C. Maurone

Days keep passing by,
but the memories last.
The test was hard,
but I have passed.

Seasons turn,
lessons learned.
And what I take with me,
I have earned.

I have sank,
but learned to swim.
I've been down and out,
But I did not give in.

The days have passed,
But they haven't passed me by,
and I can still
look up to the sky.
