I'm a newcomer in Tina's life, but the buttons are popping off my shirt.

Great job, Tina.

You rock.

Ah -cheap South American tailoring, I bet.

(No implication meant on the quality of Tina's drawing, of course)

A very talented young woman. How old did you say she was?

Thanks for all the compliments and kind words.  Tina is 15 has always loved to draw, shows tremendous talent and works hard at it.  This drawing started out as just another manga doodle and turned into something really awesome.   I love it.

I'm very proud of Tina and want to encourage her.  She just started school again and her health textbook has sparked an interest in a career in medical illustration.  I just bought her a wonderfully illustrated book on anatomy and she is fascinated and excitedly plugging away.  I know that whatever direction she takes, she will be very successful and will always make us proud.

Kat

Katdaddy, your daughter does good work. I think your daughter's Droidette looks like something one would see in a book by Jules Verne or H.G. Wells. The dress is beautifully detailed, and her hair (including the cables binding it; are they Ethernet or just power cables?) is delightful. The girl's jaw seems a little full, though, a little too masculine in relation to her pert nose.

Very good work, Tina!

I can tell that you have a passion -- and that, in itself, is a wonderful thing. Keep following your heart, and doing what you love. You have a great mother, one who supports you AND your self-expression -- which is something truly cherishable. You lucky dog!

;-)

Thank you for sharing one of your talents with us on this forum (I appreciate this talent that you have).

Ed

Hi, this is Tina saying thanks for all the lovely compliments. Michael in drag, hmmmm?

And yes, I agree about the jaw, but I had already began inking it, and I couldn't really go back to fix it. Either way, it gives her character I suppose...

Thanks again for all the encouragement,

Tina

You are so talented that I don't even mind the ribbing.

Shine on, girl!

Tina, nice work. Sorry, saw Kat's pick, didn't pay attention. Nice inking. You've got skills, proves Kevin Smith wrong that inkers are mere tracers!

Tina, did you know that your artwork is now the top rated one at this site, beating out many masters past and present?

Joe, did Kevin Smith really say that? Sheesh, how little he knows.

Heh..Bob, I don't know if he directly said it, but he had Chris Rock's character in JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK mouth it...though I think the topic may have come up in previous movies...I'm sure he was being cheeky, merely presenting a common view of inkers by those who have no clue. (I've spilled to many inkjars and ruined many a picture to believe that inkers are tracers, it is not as easy as it seems!).
