Philosophy needs a revival and review of the natural simplicity the ancient Greeks applied. I agree with the article of Cameron Pritchard and find it refreshing that such healthy criticism is directed at academias re approach to philosophy. My background comes through Indigenous American people, not neceesarily from the them, but through them. They passed on what they deemed worthy and much of the Grecian philosophy is to them. Simplistic objectivism is realistically a foundation of absolutes which we must navigate and philosophy provides a very healthy, natural and progressive criteria for knowing the value and application of absolutes. Knowing the enemy is indeed important, but the relationship of the enemies motivations to our own needs philosophical examination to be assured the enemy is indeed the enemy. Our goals might, in the end, be the same.
