Dear Barbara,

I am sorry to hear that. But, take heart, Peikoff will not live forever. We may yet see your play produced.

Mr. Perega,

I think you should take a second look at the title of this discussion.

Barbara,

Since the subject was raised, I have a tenor-less question. Is there some way to have access to your stage adaptation of The Fountainhead? Read it? Are there any copyright restrictions other than your contract with Ms. Rand? Does your contractual restriction only cover stage production? I am sure that there are a lot of us out here who would love to see it. I would even bet that many ARI people would too, despite the hostilities.

Michael

Michael, I'll dig up my contract and answer your question.

I suggest that you rewrite the Fountainhead play, kill the architect stuff, and make the hero an Italian American tenor. It will beautifully tie this thread together and, mercifully, put it to rest.

James, I'll do as you suggest tomorrow. It's a wonderful idea -- almost as good as Lindsay's idea.

No, but seriously.

Why doesn't Barbara publish the screen-play if she is legally able to?

It would put it out there and Peikoff wouldn't be able to ignore it. Maybe it would then get produced and if it doesn't we would still enjoy reading it.

im going to have to agree jussi was the greatest tenor of  the 20th century  im no expert on the subject far from it but his phrasing his diction his dedication to detail was right on if  some one says he wasint a great singer. with those 3 details he can be in to the greatest actors catergorys so with that being said you cant go wrong with him
