“We certainly need more books like this.” – Younkins

Of course, we have such a book: Capitalism and Commerce by what’s-his-name. C&C covers almost every conceivable issue related to the fundamentals in philosophy, economics, and law relating to capitalism. Each chapter is virtually a review article with ample references at the end for a full study. In essence this is a condensation of knowledge of hundreds of books and articles to orient the student of capitalism or for a delightful review for those familiar with the subject. As soon as I finish C&C, I'll move on to Bernstein's book. After all, if the author of C&C is impressed, that says something.

Thank you Jason and James!!!

Jason, you just made a sale of  C&C  for me. :)

James, while you are ordering books on this topic I suggest ordering some of Tibor Machan's works such as Capitalism and Individualism and many others.

Take care.

Ed

Actually, I've already purchased a copy of Tibor's book as well as Liberty and Nature by Rasmussen and Den Uyl, both from the references in your book. So you've made a sale for these fine scholars. Thanks.

I wrote my review based on the penultimate draft of The Capitalist Manifesto. Since then,  the material has been reorganized and the final book has four main sections rather than three: (1) History; (2) Philosophy; (3) Polemics; and (4) Economics. All of the material is still there.
