| | Found this in Monday's issue of USA Today: In 1999, while working for Half.com, a start-up Web marketplace, Hughes got tiny Halfway, Ore., to temporarily change its name to Half.com for a fee. He put advertisements on the backs of fortune cookies and in New York City urinals. "Don't piss away half your money; head to Half.com," read the urinal copy. http://www.usatoday.com/money/books/reviews/2005-07-25-buzz-marketing_x.htm Very cool review of the book Buzzmarketing http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1591840929/buzzmarketing-20
