Ed, this was great! It was well written and well thought out. It was great that you started discussing "the role of individual initiative and creativity in economic progress". That really was the key point that made every other point clear in the book. Instead of economics being a faceless, theoretical process with supply and demand curves, Rand concretized the whole thing and made the implications obvious.
