I should have posted this a while ago, due to it's relevance to a frustrating discussion back then with a ridiculous, and now ex-member 

Pure democracy, Pragmatism, Moral relativism, Collectivism... they all fit together so nicely.  When you stand back far enough when looking at them it's hard not to see them as different ways to argue that it is okay to take your stuff... while avoiding being subject to self-defense.
