| | This guy is suggesting that 'ideas' have a shelf life, an expiration date like sour milk. His drivel is depressingly familiar. Nearly every political talking-head says similar things: "What we need are NEW IDEAS! Let's see (fumbling around in his NEW IDEA bag), how about this - Keynesian economics! Never heard of it? Well, this remarkable new insight has led me to conclude that massive new government spending will SAVE THE ECONOMY! And have that protestor removed from the chamber. If it was good enough for FDR, it's good enough for the rest of us!" Philosophical bankruptcy does describe Miller's commentary. He glibly refers to and dismisses half a dozen subjects without once mentioning any principles or supporting arguments. The really scary thing is that he gets away with it. And he's apparently gotten away with it his entire life. His style is one of all presentation and no content and he is very good at it. Reminds me of many, many elected officials. If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance .....
