Interesting, maybe I will check this out. I've almost finished The Commanding Heights which is an interesting read, but my complaint with it is that the authors are so dispassionate and detached it's like they don't even care about the subject, nor have any opinions. In contrast, recently, my favorite historian has been Paul Johnson, who definitely has opinions and puts everything together in a way to make his point.
