I bought some CDs from the US Army (for little) while doing research on china and the US in WW II - they are scans of books and documents in pdf format - fantastic stuff.  I found it quite fascinating and it focused quite a lot on Stillwell and the theatre.  One thing I found amazing was Chenault.  As amzing as he was in his field - he was the general responsible for the flying Tigers, he actually thought he could win the war against Japan with a few hundred aircraft - I mean this is 100% dead serious - it was an amazing stretch of wishful thinking.

In any case, Stillwell was great.
