A free and easy way to draw new people to your SOLO Local Club is via your local newspaper "Calendar of Events" section. Newspapers typically will post brief notices in that section of local events if you keep them concise and send them three weeks in advance. You can generally do this via a form at the newspaper's Web site or by sending an e-mail to the appropriate address.
I usually get one or two calls per month from these notices. I had two new people join our September discussion using this method.
