| | After listening to the taped lecture "Immanuel Kant's Gimmick" found at http://www.aynrandbookstore2.com/prodinfo.asp?number=CM50M I have decided to rename this lecture "Adam Mossoff's Gimmick."
Mossoff's gimmick is to claim that Kant has asserted more than he has actually proven.
Mossoff believes that Kant's gimmick was to substitute the "how" of consciousness for the "what" of reality. But since Mossoff cannot find any evil in Kant's philosophy, he must look to Kant's alleged "children" (Hitler, Marx, etc.) for proof.
That is Adam Mossoff's gimmick.
