You will, I hope, forgive the Rothbardian tone here:

There is also a way in which either a libertarian government or an anarchocapitalist state may assume power -- natural wastage. Electronic global commerce is moving ahead of conventional commerce; online communities are increasing in social importance; national ligatures are weakening, as evidenced by transnational identities and falling election turnouts. I would not be surprised if we begin to see individuals seceding from government, which, under such conditions, would become increasingly voluntary.

Of course, I have failed to mention the Free State Project; although, I am unsure as to their actual intent. Lacking a political party or a certain agenda, I am not quite clear as to whether it would work. It is certainly a wonderful idea, but not quite Galt's Gulch.
Would anyone like to share their perspective on this?
