Hey All!

I went to the movies this past weekend, very unusual for me, as I've been wanting to see Garden State. Both of us who went thought it was great (even more unusual)! It's a simple story about a guy who learns to feel alive after years of just going through life. It's creative, different, and not your usual love story. I saw a commercial yesterday that compared it to Lost in Translation, so that might give you some idea of its style.

Anyone else seen it? Liked it, hated it?

Sorry if this should have gone on the Banter forum instead of the General forum! Wasn't sure where to put it, and not sure I can move it now.

Hey Liz!

I've not seen it, but I did see Lost in Translation last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Best thing I'd seen in a while, and it's stayed with me. So if it's in this dept I'll look out for it.

The other film I enjoyed which is close-ish to this kind of film is Punch Drunk Love, with Adam Sandler and my true love, Emily Watson.
