To everyone-

I simply to thank, publically, everyone in this forum for refusing to cooperate with a recent member's attempts to distract from the reasoning at hand by subtextually attacking my gender identity, sexuality, and profession.  The difference between my experience at SOLO in this regard and seeing similar unpleasant tactics condoned in other Objectivist forums means the world to me.  I am grateful to all here for their benevolence, and hope to continue to participate in much spirited intellectual discussion here in the future.

Thank you.

Yes, I noticed, too :(

But you'll want to change the title of this thread so people can click on it.

Please respond to this message if you cannot see it

Jeanine,
I too am please that you and I are actually on the same side on a lot of issues. Though I must admit that I am neither as philosophical nor as artistic as you...

Thanks all three of you for your kind words... unfortunately, I forgot to put a thread title (oops!...), and don't have the permissions to alter it.  If any moderator wants to assign me a title as they see fit, I would be grateful.

And Mme. Zhang, I appreciate the kind word, though I must state I'm no philosopher, just a slutty Pagan who sees eroticism in language.  But many appreciations for the compliments.

Shine on!, if I may borrow Joe's sign a moment,

and thank you, Jennifer, for standing

Jeanine, consider it a universal sign for all...
