Scouring Youtube.com once again, I found this little creation...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=STnUlpHf720

I quite like its style.

It used the application found here...

I love the idea of the helicopter too.  The voice was taken directly from Atlas Shrugged on tape!

No "Dagny with short hair!" No no no!!!

Yeah, not bad, but I think I would use OGRE to do most of the work since you could import any textures, models, and animations you'd like, plus control framing of scenes. :)

The powers that be at the library have disabled all audio.  How can I download this so that I can watch it from my digital camera, which supports mpeg4?

Q?  Was the virtual acting done in 2nd Life?  If so, then this opens the possibility for doing a lot of other stuff in the way of a VR movie take on a novel.  If not, then it still seems like a worthwhile idea.  You do it now in lo-res, and as the bandwidth and versimilitude approaches closer to reality, you simply replay it using the better resolution, tweaking as necessary.

~ Sorry to say, UNimpressed.
~ Great 'speaking voice' used (whoever that was.) Great speaking scenes at the office-room. Wonderful disco-newageish music. Nice 'romantic' scene at the end.
~ All the other 'scenes' (ESPECIALLY the helicopter [what was with that?])...uh...well...what relevence did they have (beyond Rorschachian 'read-into') with what was said?
~ A great idea, but, a lousy presentation. --- Scratch all the music and whaddya got? Some well done scenes making 'A is A-not.'
~ "A" for effort; "not-A" for results. Thumbs 'not.'
