| | For whom is it necessary that America fail?
That is an easy one.
Totalitarianism cannot succeed in a world in which there exists even one nation that is free. It would not be possible to build the walls high enough.
A paradigm based on forced association cannot prevail if there is at least one successful model in the world based on free association; not in a world with instant point to point communication.
Theocracies and defacto theocracies cannot last in the world if there is a successful secular alternative going to the moon and opening Disneylands. It must, instead, be characterized by the worst extreme examples of abuse of its freedoms. It must, instead, be shown on CNN to be bleeding from its a$$, fleeing falling towers.
Our tribes of naked sweaty apes are -filled- with reasons to see America, the idea, fail.
For our parents, this was once an external conflict.
What is new is, this has largely become an internal struggle. America did not so much win the Cold War as it did catch the Cold. Before that, America unfettered its own soft-fascism, Ike's MIC, in a do or die effort to unsheathe the Arsenal of Democracy and take on totalitarian meat-eaters. But in so doing, we unfettered our own tribal soft-fascists, and they have never stood down. The same naked sweaty ape sensibilities are entrenched in the now unfettered Cronyfest on the Potomac, and are clinging to the tribal gig until their fingers and the nation's a$$ bleeds.
And this video nails it. America not only caught the Cold, but is coughing up phlegm. Soon enough, bloody phlegm, like in every other tribal excess run amok.
