This non-fiction book — A MAN WITHOUT WORDS by Susan Schaller — deserves the attention of my one who thinks abou language, reason, and epistemology. Its author, who teaches the deaf, had to instruct a deaf man who had been reared to adulthood without sign language, let alone speech.

I am reading it today and tonight: just after seeing ATLAS SHRUGGED, of course (my husband and I were the first two in line at today's first local showing).
