I don't recognize the music (I'm freaking old!).  This girl is getting a pat on the back from me for attempting this.  Thanks for posting it!

Not a "pat on the back" like the guy apparently got in the picture at top, I hope!

The strings are performed by the Kronos Quartet. The music might have come from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, where they performed music composed by Clint Mansell, former guitarist and vocalist for Pop Will Eat Itself.

I wish these young folks the all the best. It looks like they've really understood the basics. However, how will they get around the copyright issue? At least this seems to be in the spirit of Rand's writings and philosophy, not like Sharon's Ayn Rand's Guide to Raising Excrutiatingly (sic) Ideal Objectivist Children. Leonard Peikoff would surely sue her.

I don't think they intend to make a movie. It was homework, I believe.

Also, I think Anthem is now in the public domain.

I believe it's copyright has expired in the US so I don't think she has to worry about getting sued.

I do a lot of 3D animation and have been working on an animated version of Anthem as my first large project (still in planning phases) so kudos to this student and her school project.  very cool.

Gotta love good old public domain Anthem.

Did a good job of it too.

Pop Will Eat Itself????  Oy!  And I thought "The Rolling Stones" was a funny name for a band!  LOL

Were there whipping scenes in Anthem?  I don't remember that.

I wish we had cool projects like that when I was in highschool!

I'm a fan of those small indie shows, especially Star Trek: New Voyages.

As for the "trailers", they're is Batman: Grayson and The World's Finest.

Oh yeah, also Star Wars Revelations.

I also saw a recent "Green Arrow" one. Looked like it could have been for the Dolph Lundgren Punisher film from 1989... And on what must have been like a $50-$100 budget it might have actually been better had they followed through.
