@Sascha:

Do you know and participate at the Freiheitsforum? Just a curiousity, since I am posting there regulary (moddy).

So, than you might also be one of the few people who receive Lichtschlag's little jewel :)

What I also disliked was the German title of Fountainhead, because I almost missed its release (title: Der Ursprung). I think sometimes it is ridiculous to translate titles into German. Although I rather liked the title "Who is John Galt?", it gets straight to the nerve of the problem in Germany: They don't know anything Galtish anymore (just look at the Art Made in Germany...).

@Max

Art? What Art? ;-)

I used to participate in the Freiheitsforum, my user name was MeAndMyself. But recently I stopped because I am not so very interested in lengthy discussions with Stirnerite subjectivists as Ulrich Wille or Andreas Ullrich, etc.

Mr Lichtschlags journal is quite interesting sometimes and for sure it is one of the best publications we have in Germany, but honestly - it bores me. In earlier times it used to have a greater emphazises on theory and it used to understand itself as a marketplace of ideas, among which there was not only Hoppe Libertarianism (as it is today), but also Objectivism and other branches. This is gone almost completely, besides some catastrophic interviews with Mr Habermehl who equates Objectivism with Kantianism. *rolls his eyes* I really wonder how Habermehl convinced Peikoff that he may publish the German translations of Miss Rand's novels. Und dann war da noch die Boulevardisierung, z.b. diese Lifestyle Kolumnen. Erfreulicherweise hat er die mittlerweile wieder rausgenommen. Die waren ja schlimm.
