| | Actually, this isn't a new essay. Peter must've written the original version about ten years ago. (I talk some on my blog (see "Friendship Set on Fire" about my own reaction to reading the essay for the first time, in 1999.) Peter spit-polished it a bit before we re-published it at the Atlasphere, though, so this is now the latest version of his classic essay. Glad you enjoyed it, Stephen!
