"Adults have been excluded from two adventure play areas in Watford, apart from a handful of council-vetted 'play rangers' who will assist youngsters, it emerged today."

Ah, yes, we've never had a problem with sex abuse from licensed state employees. The mere fact that someone would want to jump thru hoops to be a "play ranger" is enough to convince me he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children.

"Council Mayor Dorothy Thornhill said they are merely enforcing government policy at the play areas, in Vicarage Road and Leggatts Way."

Yes, isn't it inconvenient that one can't question or change what happens to be government policy, what with it happening to be government policy and all.

Bloomin' idiots.

This reminds me of the recent story of the two british female police officers who were told it was illegal for them take turns watching each other's children while the other was on duty.  Since they are charged with enforcing these assinine laws, I would say they were also remiss in their duties for failing to arrest each other.   You know the end  must be getting near when even the rulers begin to suffer from the unintended consequences of a runaway nanny state,

This nanny shit is nothing. In march the police murdered a pregnant woman, her husband, and their three year old son by preventing their neighbours from saving them from a fire.

"Davey Davis, 38, a friend of the family, said: “It was the most harrowing thing I have ever witnessed. Michelle was at the bedroom window yelling, ‘Please save my kids’ and we wanted to help but the police were pushing us back and not allowing us near. We were willing to risk our lives to save those kiddies but the police wouldn’t let us.

"The police were just saying we have to wait for the fire brigade because of health and safety."

Can't attempt to save any lives, might not be good for health and safety! I do have to wonder why the neighbours didn't kill the police and save the family.

This is the sort of thing that makes you wish hell existed.
