I've been posting quite a few links lately on the War with Islam and the Ground Zero Mosque because I think think these subjects are of such great importance.

I understand that not all Objectivists are in agreement on these issues. As Objectivists, thinking for oneself and coming to one's own conclusions are part and parcel of our philosophy.

For my part, I had a great awakening when I attended an Objectivist mini-conference a few years ago that featured Daniel Pipes, Yaron Brook, Flemming Rose, Robert Spencer, Peter Schwartz and John David Lewis. I did not believe that Islam was a major threat prior to that conference but the participants gave me enough food for thought that I finally recognized the threat of Islamic totalitarianism.

More recently, Bosch Fawstin and others have convinced me that the problem isn't just Islamic totalitarianism but Islam itself. The term Islamic totalitarianism, though proper, is redundant because totalitarianism is an essential part of Islam; that is a total merger of Islam and state under Sharia law.

I don't usually get into the back-and -forth discussions on this site like I used to due to time restraints and other priorities in my life. I post the links I have in the hopes of persuading some of you to come to the same conclusions I have. Please don't take it personally if I don't respond.
