What's the difference between Bernie Sanders, the Pope, and Hillary Clinton?  Bernie admits he's a socialist.

Wow!  Thanks for this, Stephen!  Years ago, I asked several of the clerks at my local supermarket if they would vote for someone who agreed with every one of their political views but was also an atheist, and they all said that the atheism was a deal breaker and that they would never vote for such a person.  So this poll provides a bit of optimism. 

 

Interestingly, Pete Stark, an acknowledged atheist, was voted in as a representative in my district in Northern California, serving from 1993 to 2013.  But it'll be awhile before an atheist is seriously considered for the presidency.
