The throughly absurd NY Times editorial board accuses the White House of using the beheading video of an American as a tactic to divert attention from the prison scandal. There can be no moral equivalence between us and our enemy; for it is one thing to humiliate, but quite another to behead. The rich liberals in Manhattan don't seem to get that.

The Military train their bodies and minds to "KILL". I think the photo's of terrorists being interrogated
by whatever means, short of the Nick Berg treatment, has merely given the squeamish and weak something to bleat about.
If the photo's had not come to light who would have even thought about the prisoners?
It is a shame the photo's will harm the peace negotiations - such as they are - but the treatment of Nick Berg is far more
repulsive. What about the woman featured in so many of the photos, do you think she will become a target for extremist retribution, and what do you think the Press and bleeding hearts will make of such an outcome?
