Geeze the type is small.  Here's the link to the children's book used in this poll.

Went with "no inspiring value". It's not even remotely in the same league as such wonderful books as "Where the Wild Things Are", "Ferdinand the Bull", "Wee Gillis", Russell Hoban's "Frances" books, the "Ramona" books, anything by Dr. Seuss, and on and on. Good children's books are about unusual characters doing interesting stuff, not agitprop saying to dream about interesting stuff without actually giving the kids such stories to mull over.

I've got a pretty good idea of what captured my own kids' attention growing up -- this wasn't it.

I voted "Some inspiring value," but I'm not happy with the disconnect between dreaming and reality. It's almost as if reality is being dissed for some reason.  There is much to discuss with your child while reading this, so it isn't a complete waste.

No inspiring value.  The "Big Dreams" in this story are as empty as the head who made it up.  Empty talk, no content, no inspiration.  Reminds me of Obama's website during his campaign, big talk, no specifics, just "DREAMS" [oops, CHANGE].   The empty headed childrens' candidate.  Ask me if I'm still pissed.
